Spellfire Events:

Spellfire World Championship Qualifier #1 (Grind, Dungeon Discard) - [55]

Start Time: Friday, 8am Duration: 7:45

The best of the best clash to determine who is the true Master of Spellfire. All players begin their journey in one of two qualifying rounds, though players are free to play in both qualifiers in an attempt to reach the semifinals. This year, two variants are being used to increase the excitement: The Grind and Dungeon Discard. The Grind is the same as last year, but the Dungeon Discard is new. You can discard your dungeon card (to the Void) at any time during your turn (timing is like a wish spell) to discard any one card in any discard pile to the Void. Tournament rules are available at www.wizards.com. (E-4)

Tournament rules are available at www.wizards.com. (E-4)

Spellfire 5 on 5 Table Smashing, Chair Using, Over the Top Rope, Team Battle Royal

Start Time: Sunday, 10am Duration: 5:45

In this unusual format, a 5-player team takes on another 5-player team in 5 head to head matches (best 2 out of 3). Team with the most matches won in that round is the victor. The only stipulation is that for all 5 decks that a team uses, only one of a card can appear in the all of the decks. So you will see different decks types and different cards appearing from out of the woodwork. You say you don't have a team, well this event is late enough to find some people to make your own team. Tournament rules are available at www.wizards.com. (E-4)
